Sarah Rawson-Harris is an Australian based film and television animal trainer and
co-ordinator. She has dedicated the past 20 years to providing animals for Australian and International productions. In the year 2000, Sarah co- founded & directed world renowned company - Film Livestock Australia. Now in 2020 Sarah continues her work in the industry with a new independent identity - Film Animals Australia. Sarah specialises in training a wide range of animal species. Her aim is to create memorable animal performances in a seamless collaboration with the Director, DOP, cast & crew of each production. Sarah truly believes motivation is the heart and soul of animal training. Finding what motivates any given animal is the key to her method of training, and in turn, leads to an exceptional and consistent level of performance Sarah's animals are happy, confident and able to perform in any film set environment. This is due to the implementation of a well structured pre-production training program that is designed to thoroughly prepare all animals for their on set requirements . Sarah is an experienced coordinator and can offer production detailed animal action script breakdowns, pre-production animal training requirements, cost estimations, animal trainer and equipment hire requirements. When Sarah is not working on film project's, she works as a professional horse trainer and coach, helping students to fulfil their riding/showing ambitions. Sarah has a daughter, Dakota Lily who shares her passion for the animals & is also a talented & competitive horse rider. |
